how the Grinch TRIED to steal Christmas....

Well, yes, the grinch TRIED to steal Christmas, but it just didnt happen, like the book says "you cant steal Christmas!"

Im feeling bad and guilty that every feels so dang bad for us. We are perfectly fine, a little on edge, but perfectly fine. We have learned a great lesson this year and it is to make sure our house is locked better, and that you cant buy Christmas!!

First off, everyone is wondering the whole story, yes we got robbed. we left to go up to Salt Lake the Sunday before Christmas and came back Christmas Eve to find that some idiot broke into our house and tried to take Christmas. we only lost presents under the tree to eachother and my family, presents hidden in the dressers, and all our jewelry gone. BIG deal, it can all be replaced, and they did NOT find all the kids presents that i had hidden REALLY good, thank goodness, cuz its all that matters!! we feel so incredibly blessed and lucky that it wasnt worse. They could have taken important stuff, and damaged and destroyed our house but they did not. No golf clubs missing, or family videos or important things:) just a creepy feeling left but we are getting over it, now that all our windows and glass doors have rods so no one can get in again! (thanks to dad who went to Home depot a day later to make us safe:) my family also jumped in the car that night drove in a blizzard until 5 in the morning to save our Christmas spirits, and they definetly did that! We had the BEST Christmas EVER!! you truly cant buy it, we have had more things dropped by our door with sweet cards, and so many gifts, that means so much to us that people care about us that much! what great friends, neighbors and family we have who have made this year the absolute best! THANK you THANKyou you know who you are:) we love you all so much!

the kids had no idea anything even happened, they were asleep before we even noticed and had the best year ever! so here are some pictures of them:) they were so excited Santa came to our house!! (and woke up to Grandma and Grandpa and Uncles sleeping here too:)

LittLe CiNdY LoU wHo....

well.... i cant tell you how many times a day we get stopped, both me and nick for people to say hi to "little cindy lou"... so many strangers stop to touch her little piggies and tell us that she reminds them of the little girl on the grinch, yet smaller. and then she giggles and says "bye" to them while blowing kisses and waving. doesnt matter who it is... she can put on a show....

and that she does when shes at home....
today i caught her doing the silliest things, she has quite a little personality!
first is the carseat giggle... she can make me laugh the entire way to somewhere, kaden too, and now they start feeding off eachother.

I was trying to cook dinner tonight, make cookies and hot chocolate for YW, dishes and im just letting Kylee get into whatever in the kitchen to keep her occupied. So she pulls all the pans out and all the sudden she is just giggling like crazy, i look over shes sitting on the pot. actually the strainer. she thought it was so funny. it WAS... had to be there.
not ten minutes later shes giggling again and i find her under the table playing peekaboo with rosco. just popping out and giggling soooo hard! sooo cute!
i swear i am pathetic, but i just have to keep my camera clost cuz this little girl justs keeps me laughin! she is so much fun!

We tried again..... (to get Kylee to sit on his lap at the mall.... still didnt work. its the only thing she doesnt like...

It SNOWED...crazy. its not suppose to snow here... Kaden was outside by 10 am he was so excited! so of course Kylee had to follow too, Brrr. they had a blast, you would have never knew it was 30 degrees out with their smiling faces, until I had to drag them both in cuz their noses where almost purple!! it seriously snowed here for like 8 hours straight. it was so beautiful...

sorry this post is so long and so many dang words!

on a more serious note.....
i just wanna say a few serious things. this holiday i have felt the spirit more than ever and its because of all the love and generousity of friends and mostly family. Everyone has been so wonderful to us, helping Nick survive while he tries to accomplish his dreams at this hard time... i just wanna thankyou for all your love and support. you will never know how much you mean to us and all you do. your support (you know who you are) is so much appreciated. you have no idea. its amazing how prayers are answered and miracles show up when you need them. i am so thankful this Christmas, for everything i have, mostly family. It is going to be the most memorable holiday so far... thank you thank you. I could care less about presents and money, i look at my kids and am so thankful every night that i have them and they are healthy and happy. and my perfect husband, who is trying so dang hard everyday to make a wonderful future for us. i feel so incredibly blessed. we have the best kids, best nieghborhood in the world, best callings in the church, best friends, totally best parents and family and the best lives. i dedicate these posts to our family, i know my mom cant stand a week going by without seeing these kids, and thats why i do it!! I love you all...happy holidays see you real soon!!!! x0x0x0

a little too excited...

Kaden is sooo excited this year, he is at the age now where he knows whats coming and it is so much fun! The first thing he does in the morning is grab the cholcolate christmas countdown calendar and find the right day, then he asks me to turn on all the christmas lights (even though it is light).
we had to go see Santa today, AGAIN, make sure he knew what Kaden wanted (which isnt much thank goodness) and also make ANOTHER gingerbread house, (from scratch, ill have to get a pic of that he decorated pretty much all by himself) as you will soon see. he got to be Joseph in their Joyschool "play" at the retirement home! they were of course loved! then he wanted to start helping me wrap presents. then he wanted to make cookies with sprinkles like the ones he saw at walmart. we did not get to that! anyways, point is hes really really excited and doesnt wanna stop! its so cute! i cant even begin all the times we are having to watch rudolph and frosty:)....

yesterday he spent honestly over and hour sitting at the table making this letter for santa. he told me exactly what he wanted me to write then he traced over the letters one by one with so much patience. i just had to put it on here for my mom. he will sit for hours a day now and just color, stamp and make cards with me! so fun!

Then today the funniest thing, Kylee found some funny pink flower shoes of mine, wore them around the house for at least an hour! it was so funny, she would fall and start giggling, fall again put them back on. over and over! i wish I knew how to put video on here, i will learn soon! she is getting so silly but so fun.

i love these kids.... time for more:) jk still need to talk daddy into that one:)

Pictures say a thousand words....

Kylee at the family reunion, loving the santa hat!!
...Decorating the tree....
again loving the santa hat. Kaden was all excited to decorate the tree this year, he is so excited for Christmas and for the first time really knows whats going on now! so fun!

Kylee at my moms house, ready for bed... always smiling and being adorable!

Just a few snaps after church, i do it a lot!! poor kids, always having to pose for mom! at least they like eachother now, its so dang cute!

Caught them eating apples under the table! they are little buddies! cant stop taking pics of them! is it wrong to take 500 in 3 weeks??

...The Jubilee of Trees...
Kadens favorite (and mine) was the Grinch carrying the tree in his bag, super cute!
as you can see, Kylee was not a big Santa fan! which suprised me, she isnt usually afraid of anyone. santa thought i was mean to make her sit there and cry while i got a pic!!
